Eric and Janel love children. They have wanted to be parents since their marriage in 2003. Eric and Janel describe their marriage as strong. They each feel blessed to have found each other. They like watching movies together, going to events, theatrical plays, and baseball games. They also enjoy going for walks together and playing tennis. They love to visit extended family and enjoy all the special family gatherings during holidays. Eric’s personal hobbies are playing and watching sports (softball, golf, fishing), and playing the guitar. Janel’s personal hobbies are going to softball games and playing the violin. They are described as being faithful, trustworthy, loving, honest, dependable, and as people who seek to meet the needs of others. Eric and Janel desire to adopt a male or female child, or twins, of Caucasian or American Indian/ Caucasian descent, ranging from newborn to two months of age.

We are so thankful that you have chosen life for your baby and for taking the time to discover more about us.
We have been married for five years. Our marriage is built on a godly foundation and we strive to keep it strong. We are a team and enjoy serving God together. Currently, we help the teens at our church to grow closer to God and someday we hope to be able to do this full time.

We have tried to have children for over three years, but discovered multiple issues affecting fertility including a condition called endometriosis. Recently we decided to stop all fertility treatments and in that break, we felt God leading us to adopt.
Our families are fully supportive of our decision and look forward to spending much time with this little one. We’ve seen them love on our nieces and nephews and know this child will feel loved also. We are also surrounded by wonderful friends who uplift us in the hard times and celebrate with us in the good times. Most of our close friends are already parents and we have been gaining very helpful parenting advice from them. They will be a great source of help and encouragement |

Temporarily we live in an apartment, but plan to move into a house as soon as Eric finishes his master’s degree. We currently live near a couple of parks and in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Wherever we live, our house will be a home that is a place of refuge and peace.
As a couple we enjoy visiting new places and hope that as a family we’ll continue this exciting pass-time together. These experiences will draw us closer and allow us to catch a glimpse of God’s enormous world. But we don’t forget to just relax either! Sometimes we simply watch movies together or read books.
